Back, with new lappy

I feel a little guilty, but I have been really busy. I apologize for the lack of updates.

I was considering turning this blog into more of a business proposition, but I realized that personal robotics (or hobby robotics for that matter) are unlikely to become the cash cow I would like. Because of this, I am going to keep this blog as a personal blog, kind of a replacement for http://enki.cthuugle.com/.

Following are some news about my life, and some updates on the robotics projects...
The belligerator is not forgotten, and neither is the ultimate servo hack, they are just in limbo for a while. I have been working some excessive hours this month, developing the new Charged site, building three separate control systems for Pacbrake, and planning a huge upgrade for the Rantmedia community. Many things are happening, and I need to get less of a life.

In cool robotics related news, I have been playing with the gumstix a little bit, and have gotten proficient with bluetooth, as well as the USB dongle functionality. It helps that my new laptop has bluetooth.

I also lucked into some very interesting display screens on eBay. These screens are 360x240 grayscale screens with transmissive lcd panels in them. I plan on mounting them in a set of cool looking goggles.
